Girlxgirl

I crave her face
her smile and laugh
the way she moves and acts

I need her care
her touch, her hair
and most of all
her eyes

I leap for her
I dance for her
and dont expect to recieve

but she's a girl
and Im a girl
with a cross wedged between

I dont have much to give
besides my love and life
but she is a christian
and I am left with strife

The horrors of falling for someone who won't even fathom the thought of being with you because of their religious values. This is heartbreaking.!

You paint a sort of delicate picture and really adds to the sense of yearn in the piece. It makes the readers connect more with your feelings and then there is the shock of the religious intolerance.

It is short but definitely drives home. I like the rhyme in a few places. Nice.

    Nicely done.

Thank you. This one is about my friend and how she fell so hard for the girl of her dreams and could do nothing without tearing her world apart. It was hard to write this and even more hard to show her. Thanks for the comments!!
