Fate Flies Faster

by MidniteRain   Jun 27, 2013

Flying in the sky
you'd see a different perspective,
a little further down the road,
and you would know.
Standing on a bridge,
you'd see what was down below
before anyone else,
you would know.

You'd see the car crash,
the murderous knife,
the victim bleeding,
a destiny, waiting to die.
You'd see her ready to jump,
another sad life suicide.

But what could you do
from so far away?
Like thoughts in your head,
fate flies faster.
Before you can catch up to time,
you would know,
no matter how hard you try,
they still would all die.

I like this, it seems to me like a person standing on the sidelines trying to find a way to help, but failing every time
