Not forgotten

Darkness has fallen as night appears again
Just like before, memories flood in
I see your smile, I hear your laugh
It's been so long, I've longed for that
I feel your warmth, your heart beats fast
Your arms are around me, but it did not last
The tides have changed, and the world spins on
But I have not forgotten that you are still gone
I wish once more we could love again
In a perfect world, not so full of sin
We would be happy, our love would be pure
Not twisted, not ugly. Of that I am sure
But we lost our chance and though I sometimes regret
I knew life could be better, and it will be better yet

    The first fpur lines are so full of imagery and flow so very well!!. I love the memories you recall. The feelins of love that you love and him. Its hard being away fromthe one you love.
