Not the end

As i leave this place
filled with lies and hate
may i remember my friends
who always helped me mend.
Remember all the fun we had
as i try not to be sad
try to keep a smile on
even though i will soon be gone.
Knowing Im leaving brings tears to my eyes
Everyday a part of me cries.
I leave here with love in my heart
knowing that friends never part.
I'm so glad to have you by my side,
but for now i must say good bye.
Goodbye does not mean forever to come,
because our friendship is not yet done
