The Unforgiven

by Amadeous   Jul 1, 2013

Prolonging the inevitable is a sin in itself
Behind my grin, I'm living in hell
I know this well, and well, only time will tell
Everyday is a constant battle, always fighting with myself

Throw the pictures off the shelf and take a long look in the mirror
Read the scriptures in the good book to make life seem a bit more clearer

Desolation left after a monogamous dedication
Isolation sets in with this permanent frustration
Irritation from the escalation of my current situation

A whirlwind of emotion, a whiskey breath's commotion
Dwindling in and out, my thoughts are not here
In the dark I close my eyes, and wipe away my tears.
