Wow, this was so unique and not what I was expecting. I just thought you would mention the flowers and connect, but you really personified them, gave them voices and emotions. I like how right away you bring in that stark contrast between the lily and dandelion...personally, I absolutely love seeing dandelions, even though they spread in the lawn, they are so bright and I don't automatically think of them as weeds, but I know other people do! Lilies are the go-to flower I think...like you wrote about giving them as gifts, they seem more refined, less wild, a better gift perhaps.

Such a sad tone near the end, you took a twist almost, as if in life this is what we do as humans, we chose the beauty without thinking twice or looking at the lonely, smaller things that we usually turn a blind eye to. They can have beauty as well....those last lines definitely made me think that decision was inevitable because we will pick what's pleasing to the eye without knowing anything else.
