The Mile Range

by Broken   Jul 2, 2004

This love I hold
Deep within my grasp
I hold so bold
I'll never let go

Squeezing so hard
Afraid it'll fall apart
It seeps in through my skin
Into my veins and to my heart

Now it's in me
It cannot leave
Buried somewhere within
No real reason to grieve

But the grief won't go
It chooses to stay
Knowing it doesn't belong
Growing more with every day

It wouldn't be there
If you'd stay here
I know you'll return
For that, I have no fear

I still love you
That won't change
No matter how far
Or the mile range
