Who Am I?

by Bailey   Jul 3, 2013

I don't know who I am,
Who I've become,
Society is pulling me down,
Where did I come from?

My life has become a bore,
All I feel is sadness,
No one can tell though,
From this fake smile I possess.

The only thing that matters is my friends,
There might be only a few,
But at least I'm not totally alone,
I've got my little abandoned crew.

I sit on the roof of fate,
My legs dangling off the ledge,
I watch kids laugh and play,
Dreaming of the day I go over the edge.

I sigh a small breath of relief,
As I slowly slip down,
Darkness quickly surrounds me,
Then I wait for the devil to give me my crown.
