Rich Man and Poor Man

by Glenn G   Jul 4, 2013

A poor man who has no car, no house, no money and nothing of material worth misses nothing when God calls him home. He embraces death not as the end of what was good but the beginning of what will always be good. He leaves nothing behind and reaches eternity ready to accept his eternal belongings.

A rich man gets up every morning, admires his fine home, gets in his big fine automobile and drives to work. He smiles and swells up with pride as he notices the driver of a beat up Ford Escort next to him at a stoplight admiring his car. He pulls out his cell phone and checks his messages. He stops off at the ATM to get some cash and just can't resist checking his bank balance. He gets back in his automobile and drives on to work. He spends the next eight hours behind his mahogany desk in an expensive leather chair. He gets off work and drives home and finds himself excited about doing it all over again tomorrow. As he begins to grow older he realizes he can't take it with him and wonders what will happen when he is forced to leave this world

It is true what you have penned here. The one who has nothing has no worried when it is time to depart from this world. But the one who is soaked in wealth will always be unhappy.
