This piece MaryAnne, I mean...it's just beyond anything. I love what you did with the prompt, the story you told, of these women and there freedom, there liberty and ability to be heard and not ignored...the changes that have come where women are listened to, though I know are not ALWAYS treated equal.

This was a fine write, it held so much thought and independence in each stanza, and you captured me with every line and every image.
