Expectations

"We should'nt expect anything,
because expectations hurt."
these words in my knowledge,
since childhood I did heard.
Expectations made me happy,
at times they distort.
Still I have some in my mind,
most geniune, others absurd.

I do not Expect, to talk in terms of sense.
my reputation or injured innocence.
Things earlier expected impossible,
now almost seems incredible.
I've actually found myself,
and it made me cheered.
for, always my thoughts were
with expectations, quite beleagured.

At times I even expect,
a reply to something that I feel.
but before moving further,
a bit else I shall reveal...
Just through some expectations
whole globe does change.
and for our eyes, the vision gets lured.

Quite blurred, a view of flowery city outskirts
is what they give to our thoughts
which were straight, but got curved.
Now getting curved,
to the reply expected be received.
If won't get up to the marks
let self to be badgered.

Expectations comes like seasons,
quite interesting.
and i've had no one by my side,
whenever I am thinking.
I actually failed to present it,
whenever I really meant it.
still most are made be settled dowm,
without sinking.

So whatever you ever did expect,
better get it furnished, or it'll reject.
since now you've even heard,
neither a needle, nor a sword,
these are expectations, that does hurt.
