How to write

by Tim   Jul 10, 2013

Picking words, that together rhyme,
Punctuation shows a pause in time.
Research on how to write poetry,
It's little use, I would say personally.

For writing is a real personal thing,
To voice out a message from within.
I can't really say, "you should do this,"
Nor can I mock you, or take the piss.

So if you are ever, worried or stressed,
That your poem won't pass the test.
Just be honest and write what is true,
For your poem is just a symbol of you.

    That is totally true.
Most people are always afraid of making mistakes, or even afraid of failing to make other find the meaning of what they write, truth be, we are all different, we write differently because we think differently, We read other persons poems and feel like they are better than we are but in the real sense, we are all better with different perception of this and ideas.
If someone wanna be better, they have to keep writing and allow the possibility of imagination in everyday at all time....
This here is a good poem, I like it and so are other people..
    Keep writing
Let the poetry fire in you continue burning.

People nowadays never seem to write for themselves and always want to try and impress others, and that makes the poem worse in my opinion, because instead of just writing your feelings out you are just writing metaphor crap to impress. But this poem does ring true in a lot of ways because you should write just the way you want to. There are no tests that need to be true or you have to pass, there is no time limit on much you have to write at all. This poem shows people how to write not in the stand point of writing words but what comes from on the inside. It does not matter what people think about it as long as the author likes it. But here I do like your rhyming a lot, because it flows well with the poem as well as it is not forced at all. The message is strong and well endowed. Well crafted poem!

I like this piece. Its a well written simple reminder of what so many people here understand at some point in time to some extent. Great piece. I like the unique flavor to it as well.
