Shattered little girl

by savannah   Jul 12, 2013

The screaming starts and the blood flows,
All these secrets and nobody knows.
The hurtful words, and the deadly hands,
The silent scream for the crowd in the stands.
The broken heart that once was whole,
A little girl who had that role.
Someone lost, who wants to be found,
A nine year old who cried all year round.
The blood and the tears that spilled to the floor,
The life of a little girl now a closed door.
The beatings, the blood, the tears, and the bruise,
The way her sister wept when she got the bad news.
All of these things and nobody cares,
All of these secrets and no one was there.
Nobody came if they heard the screams,
Nobody cared about a little girls dream.
The ambulance; the police, they don't really care,
About what went down, let alone what danger is still there.
