A Prelude.

by Poet on the Piano   Jul 12, 2013

Spring has a certain sound,
unlike any composition orchestrated
by mankind's flaws,
there is subtle perfection
in its crafted palate-
the Viceroy butterfly chanting
brown and orange hues
of the Arizona horizon.

Spring has a certain taste,
mountains warming up to
delicate souls when they awake
at dawn to find ink kindly
awaiting the mouth,
words transform into silence-
breath of forest and dew on
fair skin while warmth settles
near the tongue.

Spring has a certain touch,
when the eyes cannot fathom
the fragility of real blossoming,
and no artist in the universe can
reason that paint is the same
as being painted-
a snapdragon standing
quite tall, meeting your knees
in an effort to brush a message
across that you are not alone.

...

Spring has always called for you,
resting within what you are created by-
simply asking, are you mine?

Listening to "New Beginnings" by Philip Wesley, this beautiful solo piano piece that had pictures of nature.

    This is beautiful MA.
You find inspiration from so many different types of music, but you always create something unique to it.

I love spring, the changing colours, the new flowers blooming and the whole change and awakening feeling it gives you. It's that not too cold, not too warm, showery rain season.

This piece was just truly beautiful in its imagery.

    Awesome
