Psychological Trap

I am trapped within this cage
that is concreted around me
and I am blindfolded
by the burning flames
of my heart's pain.

To walk away would break her heart
and shatter her dreams of what she
has painted for me. But in every canvas
he is the oil in the background that
is making the pain run away.

To leave her when she needs me the most
would break my own heart and completely
burn out my soul. But I would have no heart
left to live, if he took her away from me because
I defied his orders and I selfishly chose to stay.

Two sets of eyes gaze into mine:
the sweetest crystals that shine so bright
asking of nothing in return except my love,
and the devil's red knives that cut me to shards
asking that I have nothing, in return for the ones
I love, to still have everything.

    Ok you made my muse run wild here haha. Heres just what I think.

    I love cages around the heart because I think of a beautiful butterfly which is who you are. The wings are breaking and all you need is someones love. Sometimes we can't see the pain we have inside which is why I love the blindfold line. We are blinded by what what we can't see at all. There is a lot of emotion In the second stanza. I feel like a child is involved. I love the sadness with the painting. I see the pain you have inside. Sometimes you have to do what is best for you though. Walking away may see selfish or difficult but in the end sometimes its better.

    I feel your pain though this is really heartbreaking and I think if you walked away you would heal more In time then with staying. That is just my opinion. I love how you put your heart and soul into this person. They have become part of you. All you can do is love this person or child with all you can give. I love the way you describe eyes as crystal. Eyes are the most beautiful thing on a person I feel. You would give everything for the ones you love and that shows your awesome personality. 5/5
