Hearts Always Heal [collab]

When I look into her eyes
Like the look of a puppy.
My heart beats and fully heals
And my smile becomes genuine.

His smile takes my breath away,
Making my heart, though scarred, beat erratically
His eyes captivating and beautiful
As I move hesitantly closer.

I can see her nervous smile
and I try to hold her hand.
She moves slowly away
afraid she will get hurt again.

I flinch away, though his gesture is soft
And I yearn to twine my fingers with his.
I try once more, and tentatively grasp it
Loving the warmth soothing my icy touch.

My fingers dance at her intertwine
and my other hand touches her face.
I let go and embrace her tight
feeling the magic of our warmth.

Slowly I wind my arms around his waist,
Breathing him in deeply.
His embrace one of security and desire
And one I mirror subtly.

I take her face in my hands
and press my lips to hers.
My heart flipped with bliss
and I rest my cheek on hers.

His lips tasted foreign yet familiar
Seasoned with blossoms of love.
My cheeks grew warm and rosy
As a smile spread across my face.

I can feel our happiness grow together
And our hearts seem to heal.
Our love will be forever
I can feel it in my soul.
