Pain

Pain is not just what you feel
But also an emotion that can kill,
Day and night i feel this increasing pain
So I tend to search for ways to keep me saine,
This pain I feel I bottle up inside
I am a man so what I feel I try to hide,
I cover up my anger with a smile
But don't look to long because it only last a while

    I like this poem because it is true. I love the first two lines pain really can be a killer of all things. It can be all the bad emotions wrapped up into one thing. Nights are always the hardest. The dark can be a very cruel thing when you have to mask your pain. I like the ending too. Sometimes it does last for only a little while. Yet we can always overcome it if we tried. The only flaw I see is saine should be sane. But good overall. 4
