What once was filled with life lies dead on the ground
These leaves survived from a constant life source
They flourished, turning lush and green to a tint.
The seasons changed, and brought the changing of their color
Once they were conformed
And then not one looked like the other
Another season passed and brought the hardening of the Internal structure
And soon, they fell onto the cold fall ground
Whereabout they lie, lifeless, not making a sound.
