Serenading Song Bird

Little bird, spread your wings
Bless my ears with your soft song.
I wish to hear your beautiful music
Serenading me from upon my windowsill.

Breathe fresh air into these ragged lungs,
Giving me another chance at a life so simple.
Swoop down and lift me higher than the clouds
Into a whole new world no one can see.

Perch in front of my tired, bloodshot eyes
And make me smile a genuine grin
Before I lose the ability to stand
Tall and strong for the one who makes my heart keep beating.

Please, serenading song bird,
I've lost myself in the despair
I hide from my love, my friends,
Bring me back to life.

I have grown cold, give me warmth
I have lost myself, bring me back
I have no trust, mend it soon...

Serenading song bird,
Wake me from my nightmare.

    The feel of the first stanza is great hun. The peacefulness is gteat. I love that the bird gives you peace within yourself. Its gteat to get a new start In life and feels awesome when yout verve pretends you can fly aeay on a birds wings where you can't get hurt at all. Everyone deserves a second chance no matter
    what they have been through. I can imagine all of this in my head. Great imagery.

    I love how you make this bird as your family. The one you can truly depend on. I love how the bird makes you stand no matter how much you wany to fall. Its love that makes your heart beat. Again in the fourth stanza you have lost everything. You dont have to hide from this bird at all. No matter what you have been through!

    the ending is great as you put so much trust into the bird. You want him to save you so much. You can be saved from listening to such a simple sound. Like a bird singing. This is a sad but full of so much hope. 5
