Maybe

by Daylight Lucidity   Jul 17, 2013

Maybe I was wrong.
Maybe he was right.
Maybe I'm a fool.
Maybe they were right.
Maybe I am blind.
Maybe she was right.
Maybe the wounds won't heal.
Maybe I should hide.
Maybe it is too bumpy a road.
Maybe I just need to pave it.
Maybe I'm not good enough.
Maybe the whispers were true.
Maybe I'm tired of it all.
Maybe I should just forever fall.

This poem is very uncertain. Which is how life is. We always think of maybe or what if. But the true question is what if no one cares and accepts things the way they are.or Maybe they like who you are for who you are. we spend most of our life thinking what other poeple think of us instead of accepting the fact that you are you. and no one can be you better than you.

You shouldn't fall at all hunny. You are stronger than you know or perceive yourself to be. I loved how you used maybe for the first word of each line. It.truly does make the poem flow better I feel. Its hard when all you do is hear crap but you can't let anyone get to you at all! You are never wrong if you follow your heart and your own path.oh and wounds will always heal even if it doesn't seem like they won't. They will if you let the right people into your life! Trust me I am slowly healingtoo bbecause I found good people. Don't listen to the whisper anymore follow what you wany and you will be ok. Sorry for the rant. The poem was good but oh so sad indeed. I love the dark message of it of giving in. I loved that you let your feelings out. 5
