I love this. A beautiful way to write about something so dark.

I love how you stated about the child like wonder here. The world took your smile away. I love that statement too. as the world can be a very cruel place. Even in a home you live in can be broken. I know this feeling well. I love the element if hope here and then the sadness starts here. Reality is a very harsh place that can consume you quickly. Depression is very horrible too. It makes you not yourself as it grows worse with time.

I love how in the second stanza you stated all the reasons why these things happen to you. That is a lot and its hard to live with all the memories that haunt you. I love how when you take about abuse you are talking about a certain person or 'you'. It leaves the reader wondering who it is. I love lived with abuse a lot of my life so I know how that truly feels.

I like the way you ended this too. You didn't like what you found and all these reasons can scar anyone. Just remember though if you truly went through this all you are stronger than you know of want to know hun. I do love the message this says though and you are very brave to share this. 5/5
