I can't stop laughing at the idea that you mentioned teeth here, given all my poor surgeries I've been having LOL.

I am just swooning over this, this is so sweet and so creative. Like I told you earlier I love the idea behind kitchen's cologne! I don't think I know what poppy gum is, but I like gum and I like poppy seed muffins, so LOL.

You're getting really good at this style/form!

    Cynnie,

You're writing way too many amazing pieces of poetry these days, I can hardly keep up but they make for great bed time reading!

I'm starting here because I've really been enjoying this grocery-list poetry style you've been writing in, I'm glad the Jeann Verlee pieces have inspired you. I'm also starting here because it's 9pm and I have to return back to university tomorrow and my mind is in depressed mode so I thought I'd comment on something a little bit more playful and uplifting than my current mood.

That's exactly what this piece did, brightened my mood. The playful undertone is evident and while I honestly think it would be hard to create a playful and cheery tone in this sort of structure you were successfully able to do that.

The descriptions are wonderful, I love the way you linked each image (umbrella and sunlit, gum and teeth, then teeth with pillows). All of your images flowed together beautifully and the readers mind is carried to all of them like a little movie. It's because of the linking that the grocery list style didn't become sharp.

Of course the descriptions are all related to Britt and they work nicely with her personality. The teeth reference is really playful and of course fitting.

Thank you for writing such an enjoyable little read.
