I love the vagueness of this because while it doesn't hold many details, you immediately get a sense that something bad happened, it made me think straight away of the death of a loved one, a boyfriend, husband...best friend...it had that connection with a disconnection, like it wasn't a family member but someone she loved on a different level.

The tone was sad but the imagery was deep and easy to connect to.

I love this so very much as well. Its so sad and makes me wonder. Woah the first two lines lol. A touch of truth trickles down her cheek wow. Sadly that is reality for a lot of people who get sad phone calls. I love the imagery you portray as she falls to the ground in complete grief over something the reader does not know. I love the complete downfall of this person from the phone call to the shock of loss. You have every detail down to a tee. I love how you leave it vague as well never knowinh what really happened. 5 bravo
