To Late

by Cassandra Christilaw   Jul 2, 2004

Late nights with fight with cries
A young girl hides
For she’s afraid of her boyfriend
He threats and he’s dangerous
Only her friends know how he is
The pain eats her alive
Why must she hide?
There is no way to escape from him
He knows where she lives and every breath she takes
Friends tell her to get away from him
But there’s no way to hide he knows everything
Her pain her sorrow and her love
She takes the bottle of pills
Stares at them with her two eyes
They call for her name
She gulps down at least twenty it seems
She starts to gag her friend’s come in
They asked what have you done?
They see the bottle and call the police
But to late for her precious breathes are gone
Her friends blame her boyfriend
Fore look at what he has done
A girl so wise and special
Turned into a death wish
