This poem is wonderful indeed. Right away in the first two lines you can see the rose wilting from sadness or depression. And each petal is delicate like a human heart and it cannot be played with easily. The frost killing hour I like because it painta a vi id picture of snow or cold feelings inside that only we can have. but I love the compare between frost and sadness ad it shows what can really happen. Love and hate are two way different emotions. But in this stanza I love how you showed the reader very little really about what happened to the flower. Its a great build up to the end stanza. |
