Very sad, I like the comparison of pink rose for the lonely girl in the sadness and she is dying like a rose loosing its soul.
    I like it..

This poem is wonderful indeed. Right away in the first two lines you can see the rose wilting from sadness or depression. And each petal is delicate like a human heart and it cannot be played with easily. The frost killing hour I like because it painta a vi id picture of snow or cold feelings inside that only we can have. but I love the compare between frost and sadness ad it shows what can really happen. Love and hate are two way different emotions. But in this stanza I love how you showed the reader very little really about what happened to the flower. Its a great build up to the end stanza.

Sinking faster and faster into all of these emotions is my opinion. And she cannot swim in them because of her past it is drowning her. And betrayal is the main culprit. I love the word lonely with ghost as ghosts seem to be the most alone in the world. And betrayal too. Because you feel like a ghost- invisible to the world when you are lonely. Its hard to feel loved when you have been hurt. I love the vague to this but I love how you used so many elements to show how you were feeling. The ghost for the darkness and sadness radiates througj out. Most excellent! 5/5

Oh wow this was amazing! I especially liked the ending..so powerful! You tied in the lines from the prompt perfectly into your piece, it all flowed so naturally.

I have to admit though, at first I thought the title was "stinking rose" haha...that could be because I haven't had coffee yet :)

    I loved it!
