Sweetest Temptation

by Daylight Lucidity   Jul 28, 2013

Her smile rules this rusty old heart,
Lighting up my darkened skies more than any
Moon or sun ever could. My fears seem so silly
When she glances my way; her fingers clasp mine and hold me steady.

Her touch, so simple, sparks an electric shock
That I feel throughout my entire being.
My helpless mind wanders and creates thoughts
Of if I was ever luck enough to say "she's mine."

Her words are soft like a child's lullaby,
Singing me to a better place, one where she
Is by my side. She is the sweetest temptation
To go beyond my comfort zone, to make us work so sweetly.

I love her, my shining star, my beautiful girl
A dream wished to life from upon those glistening stars
I will always cherish someone so divine
And will always love her.

I love the way you use rusty for his heart. As it can be broken and hollow. I love the darkened skies part too. Because your skies in love do seem so dark and love can light up and cure any depression. The moon or sun
woll light up any life. Fears seem so silly when it comes to love. Because love is the cure for most of that when are deep into it. I like the glance part because they are so simple but can melt any heart. The holding of hands is sooo sweet. And can hold any heart steady. You can feel the love of the two people but I love the tease you put into it. The build up is wonderful. Haha.

The lullaby is awesome because you can tell who she is through it. A sweet and caring person who cares deeply for this person. There is always a better place when you are with the one you love. The title used in here is wonderful because it tells the reader how you feel. She is an angel no matter what. I love the ending too. As it shows they will always love each other. I lovethe pure love element here tthough. As it shows your true writing skill. 5/5
