Ha I love this! Just lit up a smile on my face too! I saw you live in N.Y.... are you in the city or outside of it? My family and I recently traveled to NYC as a mini vacation just for a few days to see the city, and so when you mentioned the street vendors, I completely can picture them! That's what I miss the most... I kind of wish our little town had stands or something. I think we got the wrong impression thinking New Yorkers are mean and too much in a hurry to care, but we learned they're aggressive but always willing to help if you ask. Since we walked mostly to get to places, I remember stopping by to get this and that... like in the morning on our way somewhere I'd get a fresh bagel and iced coffee for a couple bucks! Never had a coney dog there though...but we have a place downtown that's popular here in our state.
