I love how you link giving birth to writing poetry, that's clever, and it was done in a way that wasn't obvious in the first 3 stanza's, I was thinking, about the title, and then when reading I was trying to find the link, while intrigued as we saw snippets of you...

the ending was pretty well thought out, and that last statement was powerful by itself.

Writing can be painful but it is a relief and outpouring of emotion when you finally lay the pen down.
