How should i say this , both are good and both reflects something, for example :
" I'm a free spirit.
I wine and dine alone.
Choices in life are nice;
The choices are mine alone. "
this part here can tell me that you are a carefree person , it can be in either a positive or a negative way , it depends , but it gives off a feeling of solitude and loneliness
*I'm a free spirit.
This I've always known.
Many choices in life I'll make:
For reasons mine and thine alone.*
in this part here it gives off a feeling of assuming your responsibilities and living with no regret ( i think) , but there are no signs of loneliness more like it a feeling of courage and determination ,
so i guess both parts represents a state of your mind or a even a part of who you are so they both are good in my opinion
i hope this was useful
