I stood there Looking from afar
At a beautiful imagery
That will forever leave a scar

Your face with a similar glow
Of when we first met,
As the memories began to flow
Seemed to be moments, I begged to forget

Everyone gathered around you
Sharing your joy
And for a moment I pictured me
Immediately.. beginning to feel coy

The girls that stood before you
Were dressed in baby blue
The guys in their sharp black suits
That together complimented the two;

And there within your arms
Your new bride you embraced,
You've never held me that way before
And I suddenly felt out of place.

It took everything in me
I Needed a closer view
To satisfy the doubts within
It wasn't, it couldn't be you

My chance of having you
A life together ahead
all crushed;
Because now, you are wed.
