Sometimes [Acrostic]

by Daylight Lucidity   Aug 6, 2013

Sensitive tears brush along porcelain cheeks, remembrance strong in the biting night air;
Oppressive pain blowing away with each gentle kiss upon an anxiety crinkled forehead, leaving only sweet
Memories to look back on in the future years; soft smiles playing at the edges of pink lips,
Emanating care in a space fluid with words not said but understood in the silence.
Thoughts so purely full of love provoked by a mere twinkle of an eye or the graze of a hand against another,
Instantly making cheeks flush rose-colored and beautiful.
More and more things making feverishly pounding hearts fall deeper in love,
Even when not there in body, always reaching with the mind.
Sensual kisses and gentle embraces sometimes enough to excite the soul to joy-filled tears.

    Your words hold such a delicate picture. The imagery and emotion put into the poem is one that is so easy to spot and you drive home that feeling. I love the tale, two people in love but not fully complete until they find themselves. It's a bittersweet but very lovely story. The words are great, the flow is great. It's amazing.
