Death

by UtterlyAlive   Aug 7, 2013

Theres a certain beauty to death
Yes, there's a certain beauty to dying
Something beautiful about drawing one last breath
And closing your eyes one last time

All life is, is a lie
It deceives you with it's power and light
It makes people scared to die
So they spend their life trying to run

But in the end, they can't hide
Death gets a hold of them
And they join the other side
Their life on earth lived out in vain

They don't see that maybe,
Just maybe, death isn't that bad
That it sets you free
releases you from your pain

So don't live your life in fear,
Listen to what I've told you
And when death finally gets here
Welcome it with open arms

There is a weird beauty in death I kinda agree with you there. I think this can go both ways though there is a hint of happy in ending your suffering and pain but if you have lived a good life then the slower the better. When again you feel nothing per say it seems we always look at the dark or sad side of life. It is always interesting when people say when they wanna be another person or look through another persons eyes. Do they really want to see or do they just want to end apain they feel inside? No one really knows. It really is iinteresting how people are scared to die because we all do someday. We always regret the lives we live on earth. I agree again that death does set us free and set us free from all tbe pain. But people are still scared maybe its because of their religion. If you lived a full life I think we are okay witb death. I love the deeper message here though. I think you are saying at the end if you live your life that death is ok and you shouldn't fear because tomorrow might not come so live today. 5/5
