Your Eyes.

I used to believe the Sun rose in the East
until I saw you smile today and to my suprise
I learnt it rose in your eyes.

The Moon always shone down on me at
night and has done all my life, until today
when I saw how your eyes reflected
the luminescence of a satelite when I asked you
to be my wife.

The Stars always sparkle and illuminate
the night sky and have done for millennium,
until today when the tears of joy fell from
your eyes, as bright and glittering as any
billion stars could ever do and would hang
their head in shame by comparison.

But Suns,Moons and Stars are not Earthly
things and I thank God that you and your love
for me are, and will last long after the Solar system
and all the planets are long dead...
