You were young when you left this world,
We didn't know what was wrong with you,
Until it was too late...
I wish you'd come back soon...

You were in so much pain..
I could barely bare seeing you like that,
The only thing that helped me cope,
Was my furry ginger cat.

But she got taken away,
And I got stuck with your Prince,
Who couldn't kiss you to wake you up,
It was a sad ending for once..

I think of you every day,
You're ashes lay in a box in the corner,
Protected by a barrier of glass,
While I'm still a mourner.

Everytime I think about you,
I burst into tears,
I wish you'd come back..,
You were my best friend over the years.

You were my best friend,
You will always be the champion,
Your spirit will linger forever,
And always be my Backyard Guardian.
