Oh wow, I absolutely love this poem! It is simple but so very powerful! I think that by expressing relatable situations, you engage the reader and make them put themselves in your situation. Grief is overwhelming and can quickly take you into darkness, you depict that extremely well. I have just recently lost someone very close to me and reading this, I knew exactly what you meant. It takes a good author to make someone fully understand so well done!

I especially loved this line "Ripping at the seams" because it is so real and yet such a unique way to describe grief. It really hit home with me and I think anyone who reads your poem will feel the same way.
