Gone

by Daylight Lucidity   Aug 9, 2013

Late night laughs
Blow away quick;
One small draft,
One last tick.
Hearts burst
Into flames,
Love always hurts
Even in gain.
Break away
From desire's pedestal,
Only to find
It more difficult.
Gone in one
Last glance my way;
The ring abandoned
With nothing to say.
The future melts
Away with tears,
Feelings felt
Depart in years.
Break me now,
See me wave,
My heart in tow
No longer saved.

    This is a very sad poem but much better written. I love the flow you bring to it as the line connect together well. The rhyming is great too.

    I love how you go from laughing to heartbreak. You truly shows how much it can change in a second. Lovealways hurts when you get hurt but you are right sometimes it can be hard to love no matter what. When you break aaway it is very difficult to be alone. Its hard when you lose someone but remember you will alwayshere when you find love again. When you say no to a ring its very hard. I can see the one last glance though. The sad look on both of your faces as you say goodbye. Even if you loved this pperson for years it can change with anything bad. Your hero has left you and now all you can do is move on! 5/5
