The White Rose

by Nick   Aug 11, 2013

I know of a white rose in a field of red
Whose beauty nullifies its thorns,
And frees me of dread.
Within me,
A happiness is born.
This flower,
Perfect and radiant,
Has an allure that will never lose power.
Not through the dark of night
Nor by the kiss of death
Nor the sands of time.
And this white rose
Is beautifully, perfectly mine.
