A Lost Love Is The Greatest Loss

by Maria   Aug 14, 2013

He loved her more than a mother
loves her newborn child,
he loved her more than a child
loves their brand-new toys,
more than a blind person
loves the light,
more than flowers love the sun.
He loved her more than all
kinds of love combined
and she loved him in her own sad way.
He loved her and she loved him back
until her sadness won the war
and he had no one to love anymore.
