This is really sad BR. But I love the rhyme and flow to this piece and the very strong message that leaps off the screen when it is read :)

This is a truly sad piece indeed. A child is always helpless while there heart is hurting so bad. Eyes are a true gateway into a childs soul. There are many ways you can see pain inside eyes. You can see tears and fear. There seems to be no hero for a child that is hurt. I think that is like eeveryone though. No one feels safe when their heart has been hurt. I love how you describe the walls and the scream. Their walls inside of their heart. The cage around them is so tough that they cannot break free. Everyone always wants to break free no matter what they do.

The sadest thing in the world is when a child passes away. I love the emotion you bring to the poem though. No one is protecting anyone anymore and sadly we have to fend for ourselves. You bring to life such a strong issue. Protect your hearts and you won't get hurt but you also have to let others in to feel loved. It's always better to feel loved then not at all. Great write. 5/5
