Forsaken

Forsaken I must be
All alone with no home
No one to hold
Not one to share
No warmth from the cold
Nothingness solitary
All the same
Not one has made claim
I must carry the shame
No one can be blamed
No love for me nothing's free
As if drowning in the sea
All alone not even a raft
Nothing even close
Just the fish eating away
Nibbling bits of flesh
Tearing away
Nothing is left from this day
The tattered soul drifts away
