I'm so wrong...

by Antonio   Aug 28, 2013

So short lived our time, and in the blink of an eye...
this shy red haired girl, was gone from my life.

I showed you my love, you ripped open my heart.
That fear that you felt, it tore us apart.

So soon and so sudden, our bond had dissolved.
The reasons you gave me, I felt so appalled.

You swore that you'd stay, and that you felt the same too.
Our deep felt emotions, so strong and so true.

Our age and our timing, was SO, SO far off.
We yearned for each other, but could never go on.

Now I write this poem broken, and without you in my life, but you said you prefer this, than to compete with my wife...

What good are the vows of marriage when no person can remain true? So sad. But i dont blame you.
