Earth Bound

by Robert   Aug 28, 2013

These night's seem to last forever
Like the darkness within my troubled heart
Troubled by the word's that have been spoken
It shatter's by the weight, and start's to part
Down the middle, and a little jagged
It's sharpness pierced my lonely soul
Sadness was large, and deep like a sea
No emotion's were left just a state of misery
Motionless I was with little glimpse of life
My jealousy was attached to the caterpillars in sight
Who lived care free, and just to get by
Learned to evolve; learned how to fly

A heart filled with sadness and has no escape
for its chained to one place; compared to a caterpillar who goes through hardship eventually flying away from the chains of bondage.

A deep write filled with some deep sentiments. It
fills the reader with a longing of freedom..excellent!
