Really emotional poem JM, I love it. You know I'm all for imagery and emotions, and I think this poem of yours reflect the style of poetry that I like, I particularly liked for example the imagery of the two hearts beating at the same time at the beginning, showing an ethereally eternal connection between mother and son.

The middle stanza was good, and I see it as mostly emotions and thoughts recollected together, still conveying a really powerful emotional message, carrying thoughts and considerations that are the consequence of the true emotions that the poem has been feeling. To me the poet wants to express her burning desire for a love that never really ceased to exist, always existed, and always will exist.

My favourite stanza, though, was definitely the last one, I really liked the positivity of it as well as the many repetitions at the beginning of each sentence as not only did it create rythm, but it also created a bigger emotional impact for the reader
