Comments : We never feared the knife

This is a different style than your usual stuff and I'm not sure if I'm fond of it or not. It seemed very... I don't know the right word to explain it but you have a usual way of getting more focused in your poetry, really descriptive and this didn't have that natural pull.

It did carry emotion and made me think -- this could very well be suicide/self harm though, we don't fear the tool but we fear the rest of it all, what happens after we go for that change?

To me I was able to relate it to my life now with the changing of jobs. I don't fear the job itself, but I have a natural anxiety of the change - will I be good enough? Will I enjoy it? Am I making the right move? I think it's natural to question change, no matter it being big or small, and that definitely rang true toward the end of your poem.
