When we're apart

Even though you won't be by my side tonight, i take comfort knowing we're under the same sky.

If i close my eyes i can picture you in my mind, i can see your smile and feel the warmth from your eyes.

Imagining the embrace and safe feeling inside, just thinking of being by my baby's side.

Tonight we maybe apart but in our hearts we are as one, that invisible bond that keeps us so strong.

So when i look up at the sky, i see that bright shiny star. I know it's something we can both share, when we're apart.
