Conterfeit

Yielding unto the shallow
I hark thee hurt within
before truth rest
sadness begins
wondering at ones heart
why they, yet not I
how not my spirit
the ugly so seen in
truth for the darkness
they hide
let the tears fall upon me
how are they so cruel
when kindness I have given
yet even now I see true
where was it written
the sky should cry
in emptiness even the
soul of my mother I can
not grasp
my heart yearns
for to taste of love
so sweet
though I am alone
in a world of painful dreams
for here is further a star stolen
away into this desert of
remembrance, who am I?
Though ever a puzzle
fighting away hate
rather to sense in broken
thoughts, I tear them down
ripping them their foundation
breaking there hold, they no
longer are seen the same
for in view as sweet as
can be yet beneath their
hearts shout evil greed
all just a facade yet
now my ears, my eyes
won't be fooled by empty
ramblings or kindness
for now I know them by their
deeds.. So now I say
I write, I never knew you
though you are my birth mother
you never truly cared
though you are his sister
you are a two faced heart
though you were a friend
I never knew you
though you were important
you never let me see
the heart of you
though I love you
I never knew you

If indeed you feel this hurt, I am truly sorry, somehow only the chosen ones can live even with the enemy even if there to blind in their hearts to know the hurt and pain they've given ones soul our hearts never devise cruelty..
Thank you Robin for the kind comment..
