Comments : An Eclipsed Life

This poem reminded me of people who just speak with the intuition of ridiculing for the sake of hurting. The beginning stanza was a great start. Specially the "lashing tongues," it hits one with a concrete yet abstract image. I also like the use of "Hyenas" good metaphor fitted for the poem. I associate the Hyenas like with bullies.

I think by Eclipsed life.. the way I interpret it is that those lashing tongues can make ones life obscure and pretty much they can mark our life forever.

This poem is sad and it has more depth. What I loved the most what the journey I was taken into with a few words. Specially in this stanza

    "A striving mare
    runs wild to escape
    to find freedom
    from ridicules embrace,

    But

    Callous bullets
    pierce the soul,"

    Well done
