From Stone To Steel...

by LoneWolf   Sep 20, 2013

From stone to steel my heart went,
For of my heart of stone you made much more then a dent.

They told you too early and that was it. So with a hammer you took my heart bit by bit.

I told them not to, for you weren't alone, as my love for you was completely shown.

By another's mistake you turned away, all because you led me astray.

A first dance you gave me as my heart jumped for you, that night I slept sparsely the reason being that I adore you

Now I can't look at you as if out of shame because it feels like I'm the one to blame.

Am i not enough or do you prefer the other kind of men? Now all i can do is write of you, my heart broken again.

Now you're there just sitting there with him, and knowing my situation is Grimm,

Cast into the forge my heart goes, as I pull it out with tongs of bronze its burning and it glows

Down into the trough of water my hearts steams, along with my hopes thoughts and dreams.

With gauntlets of Ebony I take heed of my new self, I put all of past love onto the shelf.

Behold, my new heart composed completely of steel, I can't fall to it again, for the pain is just too real.

Goodbye Samantha I loved you so, before my love in my heart for you completely overflowed.

Goodbye...
