I'll never give up on you

I'm just me,
nothing more to say,
I don't have much feeling,
expressions or care to give.

One thing I will say is,
All the love I have,
I give it to you.

You've always been there,
So I'll always be there for you
Whether you're here or not.

I wish I had told you sooner,
Before this all happened.
Before you eventually gave up.

I'm sorry I put you through this,
But I know that I'll never give up on you.
Just as you never did for me.

    This was simple but surprisingly deep and effective also. I think there was some confusion when you said they are and were always there for you, but then they let go and aren't there anymore. Maybe this is a paradox or maybe it indicates the person you are referring to has passed away. I think it was a heartfelt poem with decent word choice and it works well. I particularly like the honesty in the beginning when you say you are just you: I think it makes it more relatable and also powerful as a result. Keep it up and welcome to PnQ
