Wow Saffie how lovely it is, even though the words comprise stanzas, the way I read it is just one word, "love" for in this piece somehow a narration of how you found strength specifically in spite of the doubts. Good job, very touching poems.

This is a great dedication to someone special in your love. Your words are caring as you write this though. I love how you let someone into your heart though. It's that love we must charish indeed. A year is a long time but I like it because you set a time frame. So you always know when you met this person. I think when you have been hurt it's hard to trust anyone and find love to be true. But once you start to open up though it gives you a wonderful feeling. We have to patiently wait for anyone I agree with you there. I do love the time laspe here it shows how much time inbetween this was.love is such a magical word you have though. And again you show how much you care for this person with your words. This is a great poem I saw no flaws at all. You have done such a great job getting your feelings for this person out and its great to have someone like this in your life.

Upon first meeting this person, you had doubts... you didn't know if you could love and confide in them. You were unsure if they were trustworthy or even worthy of your time/love. But slowly within meeting, you had to trust your instincts and their words, letting them prove to you that they wouldn't hurt you.

It's been almost a year and they are someone very dear to you, someone that you plan to be in your life for years to come. :)
